I wanted to write and let you know how very pleased my wife and I were with you and the entire McGowan team. Our A/C system went out on a hot Wednesday evening in late July, and after sweating it out for a night I started making calls to various A/C companies to get estimates to replace the entire system. I called McGowan’s because they had installed a Carrier in a previous house that I had owned and they had done a good job. I ended up getting 4 other estimates and I was not impressed with any of them by the time you arrived at 2:30pm. I was impressed that you carried both Carrier and Lennox, the two top brands. I was also impressed that you asked appropriate questions to determine the type of unit that would suit our needs and then measured the entire house to be sure. I was expecting to hear a price at least as much as the other companies, but you surprised me by quoting a price that was slightly less than any offer we received on comparable units! We chose the Lennox because of their excellent reputation and also the price. Although it was getting late in the afternoon, you were able to get the install set up for the next morning. The installer, Miguel, arrived around 9am and did an outstanding job, finishing around 3pm. My wife and I were extremely pleased with McGowan’s for their great customer service. Graeme, you were one of the best salesmen I have ever dealt with! I appreciated your honest answers to my questions, good prices, and follow up to ensure we were completely satisfied. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND McGowan’s A/C. There are a lot of choices for A/C systems (most of them seemed to be bad) and dealing with McGowan’s was truly a great choice!!!

Fantastic Knowledgeable team!
Just wanted to let you know how happy we are with our project you did Tuesday. We live in Fleming Island, FL. and just completed a new Carrier Air Conditioner installation and removal of our old system. Outstanding Service!
Our A/c went out early Saturday morning and remained out through Sunday at 5:20 pm. I called McGowans at 8:30 am Sunday for emergency service. Rick stated to me that there were 5 other calls ahead of us and that it would be late Sunday before he could see us. At 5:30 pm Rick call to say he was on his way! Upon arriving Rick discovered the outside capacitor was bad and he quickly changed it out. This made us very happy and much cooler.
Please thank Rick for his professionalism and great sense of humor. The total customer service was outstanding and on a weekend when it was hot for him as well. Rick did a great Job!
Air Quality is so much better
I would like to share my thoughts on a resent service call. I was very pleased with the great job that Rick did on my AC unit. My unit works great and the air quality is so much better after the cleaning. As a homeowner, I feel so much better , knowing that a company like Mcgowan’s is there when you need them. McGowan’s completed the removal and installation of our complete heat and A/C system this week, including all ductwork. We want to thank you for doing an excellent job. The lead service technician was Christian, and he was assisted by three different persons during the week. Christian is truly an excellent representative of your company. He is very knowledgeable, and courteous to the customer at all times. It was also evident that he is an excellent supervisor and gets along well with his assigned crew. On the last day of installation, Christian was assisted by Mike in the installation of the inside air handler and the outside unit and making all the final connections. It was very evident that they were true professionals. You have performed our semiannual service for many years, and we are certainly glad we chose you to do our installation, and look forward to many years of continued association.

Your company was highly recommended to us by Matt Kruse, Mortgage consultant with PNC Bank. He is in a business group with Glenn Boyles. We spoke to Mr. Boyles originally to set the appt. There was a slight miscommunication, but all was efficiently resolved by Marci. She could not have been nicer or more helpful. On the day of the appt. your technician Lee Garland arrived at our home. He was so polite, pleasant and thorough. He took time with us to explain exactly what he was doing, all about the system. He installed a badly needed new thermostat with a full & understandable explanation of options so that we could choose the best one for our home. He was very thorough when ‘training’ us on programming. He was honest & genuine. In the business environment today it is all to common that many employees are working only for a paycheck.

Carrier System 31 years old and still running strong!
Hello, we are homeowners in Fleming Island, FL. Our Carrier system was installed on April 12, 1978 by McGowan’s Heating and Air Conditioning. It is 31 years old and running strong. We recently had the system cleaned and tested by a McGowan’s technician and he said that it is blowing cold air at the correct temperature and in perfect condition. We are amazed that it is 31 years old and still working perfectly. As you know Florida is hot most of the year and our A/C gets a true work-out. We think it a testament to Carrier’s durability and McGowan’s skilled labor force that our unit is running flawlessly today. We feel Carrier and McGowan’s are #1 in Air Conditioning Systems! Excellent Bi-Annual Inspection Service
About a year ago we signed up for the bi-annual inspection service. The other day you all called to schedule an appointment, yesterday, your technician Robert came out and we just have to remark how pleased we were with his professionalism and his expertise. Not that we’ve ever been unhappy with McGowan service before, it’s just that Robert found two issues that if gone unnoticed may have eventually cost us a lot of money. We’re certain the handler will run better for sure. We’ve recommended to all our neighbors to buy their hard to fit filters from your Collins store, and we’ve passed them in the your parking lot picking their filters up. So we’ll be sure to share the praise of your inspection service with them as well.
