Your home’s central heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC) is responsible for nearly 50 percent of the energy consumed in your home according to ENERGYSTAR®. That’s why energy-efficient choices can mean big savings on your monthly energy bill.

Shopsmart with JEA offers homeowners discounts on HVAC maintenance that can improve your current unit’s efficiency or the purchase of a new HVAC system, if you are in the market to upgrade to a more energy-efficient unit.

JEA Financing Coupons
JEA knows that needing and wanting to make home energy upgrades is one thing. Paying for those home investments is another. In an effort to help homeowners improve energy efficiency, JEA, through a federal energy efficiency grant*, has partnered with local lending institutions to offer low interest financing on these Shopsmart with JEA home energy upgrades.

Financing is Available
Participating lenders are working in partnership with JEA together to make Jacksonville more energy efficient.. They have partnered with JEA to offer low interest rate financing on qualified upgrades. They will be providing low interest EE loans for qualified EE measures for JEA customers.  For a full list of eligible measures, click here.

• Residential loans may range from $5,000 to $20,000.
• The program will provide a six percent (6%) reduction in the interest rate for the loan you receive.
• Term of loans shall be less than the life of the measure and not to exceed 10 years.

Interested homeowners must first have a professional investment-grade energy audit. From the audit,you will receive a ranked list of home improvements that will increase your home’s energy efficiency. Choose an improvement based upon your list, needs and budget.
